My research explores how young adults understand and communicate about vulnerable topics such as cannabis use and mental health. I have a focus on aligning public health messaging with real-world language and experiences of the people my research aims to reach. I’m especially interested in providing evidence-based, accessible, and judgement free information and creating that space for open conversations to occur. Through both academic and community driven initiatives, I aim to support informed decision-making for the general public and foster a more compassionate approach to sharing knowledge and teachings on the topic of substance use health.
