Tanisse Epp
Tanisse is a Neuroscience Ph.D. student in the Hellemans Research Group. She completed her Bachelor of Science in Honours Neuroscience and Mental Health at Carleton University in 2021 and her Master of Science in Neuroscience from the University of British Columbia in 2023. Her research interests include understanding the neural underpinnings of substance use health and addiction, as well as the impact of substance-related stigma. Her projects within the lab focus on quantifying stigma across the substance use health spectrum and developing a neurobiophysiological measure of stigma.
